These images are descript of the metaphysical experiences I have when in deep prayer and meditation. Prayer for me takes resilience. Amongst all the distracting things life can throw at us, it takes endurance, focus, and resilience to slow down and speak to GOD in prayer. Prayer can be easy, even pleasurable, when life is going just as we expect or even better. But praying through the difficult times, at the news of lost loved ones, or even when your spirit is not in submission to GOD, it takes resilience. It takes effort to pray through all of life and its difficult moments. It takes resilience.
