My love laughs at every punch line and stares at you like you’re doing something terribly wrong

But

He lays in between your legs and tells you to massage his left shoulder….

not like this

but like that

There’s a movie on the television

“Love Jones”

And he says “it’s like you and me” photographer and poet that is, we’ve been more than just ‘kicking it’

He says he loves me

My love feels like red wine warm and tart.... he feels like crocheted afghans... stiff but comfortable

My love and I don’t get along, but it’s still my love and I and it’s been for years on years to count on

But maybe we just have years

But No.

not my love and I

We shed tears, make love, laugh and smash things... but I just can’t imagine life without him by my side.

My love and I…..

A Jamaican born, African American, Lifestyle Fashion Photographer based in Washington D.C. I love to create art with my camera. It never leaves my side. I love to create art with my words. Love. Live. Beautifully.
