What is purpose to you? It's a idea that allows you to explore who you are as a person. It's the meaning to one's role in this world and beyond.

Have you found your purpose? I believe so. I always use to run from it because I knew that it wasn't something I wanted to do but life had a way of showing to me that it was something I needed to do so I'm here now.

How is your purpose reflected in your art?

Yes, every picture, video, and writing piece is apart of my healing process. My work is my catharsis. It allow me to create a space and outlet to fully explore my vulnerability. This is scary most of the time but despite my fear I know that deep down inside my salvation and freedom is tie to my art.

If you could describe your art would you? And if you would, what would you say?My art is Catharsis. Healing in real time. It allow me to create a safe space for me and the person I'm creating with to develop a moment that will hopefully create reciprocity

What inspires you?

So many things inspire me but I will just say that watching people interaction with each other would be it. Observing folks in the world give me a different perspective on the way the view different point of view.

What drives you to do what you do?

Multiple factors but the main one would be to growth. It give me a chance to grow in all aspects of my life, from art to personal development. It allows me to be better than what I was yesterday.

Why did you start making art? Full transparency, I try to come in suicide back in 2018 I hit rock bottom and I was really struggling to find my purpose. My mentor saw that I was struggling to find myself and told me this "Just Create something, it doesn't matter if its great or awful, just make sure that it's intention and it's for you. Always create for yourself" those words saved my life and why I'm able to answer this question today.

What about the art you make allows you to be who you are? It's give me an opportunity to create. The power creation is an opportunity that we are all gifted with but very few are bold enough to do it. It provides the foundation of who I am as a person. I hope that made sense. If I can create something that can heal one person, then I have truly walked in my purpose.

How important is a space like Late Fee magazine?

I'm forever grateful to space like Late Fee magazine because it provides spaces for people of color to showcase there art and gives them a voice. The visual storytelling provides a platform for ideas, dreams, vision and imagination to come to life and manifest itself in a world that doesn't provide or highlight POC's stories.
