Break Free (poetry)
by Rowanna
My joints clink,
Stretched and satisfied.
The veil is finally lifted.
Let light filter in,
And kiss copper skin.
I am the start
Of a daydream.
My fingertips
Are knotted brown roots
Blooming into visions.
My hair is coiling
And stretching for truth.
I am the cusp and the beginning.
In an act of rebellion,
My celestial body breaks free.
